What is a TumbleBook?
TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you.
How does the TumbleBook Library work?
With a paid, 12 month subscription, the TumbleBook Library collection is accessed on-line from every computer in your school or library with Internet connection, or from home through a direct link on your school or library website.
Do I need special software to view TumbleBooks?
All you need is the Flash plug-in which is preloaded on most computers. If you are unable to view the TumbleBooks, you can download the plug-in for FREE at www.macromedia.com/downloads
Is there a way to access our collection without having to enter username/password?
Sure. We can set you up with a referred url which you can post on your school/district website. Your students/teachers will only have to click on the TumbleBooks icon to access your entire TumbleBook Library collection.
Is there a limit to the number of students who can access the collection at the same time? Or the number of times we can view each title?
No limit. Your subscription gives you unlimited access from as many computers as you have connected to the internet.
Is my subscription only for the school year?
No. Your subscription is a 12 month subscription which begins on the start date of your choice and runs for 12 months.
Do you offer any discounts?
We certainly do. Discounts start at 10% for 1 additional school in the district and goes all the way to 50% for larger districts and multi branch libraries.
