TumbleBooks are animated, talking picture books which teach kids the joy of reading in a format they'll love. TumbleBooks are created by taking existing picture books, adding animation, sound, music and narration to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you.
The TumbleBook Library collection is accessed on-line from every computer in your school or library with Internet connection, or from home through a direct link on your school or library website.
The TumbleBook Library is a collection of licensed titles from children's book publishers such as Scholastic, Chronicle Books, Candlewick Press, Bridgewater Books, Walker and Company and others.

Through the TumbleBook Library you can complement and broaden the scope of many themes taught in your classroom. Several of the books cover various holidays and celebrations. In our multi-cultural classrooms, these books can be used to raise awareness of different cultures. Several of our books are "issue related" books. "No Nuts for me" is an example of an issue related book that is widely used in classrooms across North America and is endorsed by leading professionals. Other books in this collection deal with volunteering, aging grandparents, asthma and cultural tolerance.
Life Learning also includes non-fiction books like "Champion: The Story of Muhammad Ali" and "Coming Home - a story about Josh Gibson".
The Deluxe version of the library also comes with a growing selection of books in Spanish and French. Our Language Learning books include a "Tumble Word Helper" which gives the pronunciation and translation of selected words in the story. There is also a vocabulary sheet available to print at the end of the book, and the TumbleQuizzes reinforce the selected words in this section.
The TumbleBook Library also includes a collection of resources to aid teachers and enrich the learning experience. These resources come in the form of:
A collection of online puzzles using a picture from the book.
A collection of concentration games, reinforcing concepts from the book.
TumbleQuizzes use 5 multiple choice questions to test reading and comprehension in a fun way. The quiz tracks the number of right and wrong answers and produces a report at the end. A round of applause is given to users with a score of 4/5 and 5/5.
